This Data Summary Report presents state and national median values of the 23 financial indicators included in the Critical Access Hospital Measurement and Performance Assessment System (CAHMPAS). As part of ongoing work of the Flex Monitoring Team, these indicators were specifically designed to capture the financial performance of CAHs.

The indicators fall under seven domains: profitability, liquidity, capital structure, revenue, cost, utilization and other. The report includes a brief description of the domains, Part 1 Includes the State Medians by Indicator, and Part 2 presents the Indicator Medians, grouped by states. The Appendix includes indicators definitions, interpretations, and benchmarks.
