Given the importance of CAH-based Rural Health Clinics (RHCs) to Critical Access Hospital (CAH) operations and population health performance improvement, a set of CAH-based RHC quality metrics may be a useful addition to the Medicare Beneficiary Quality Improvement Project (MQBIP). This project will help identify quality measures for potential inclusion in MQBIP based on recommendations from a panel of RHCs and other quality experts.
